Media Plaza was designed in 1996 as a temporary centre to stimulate the use of innovative ICT in business. This theme remains relevant and for this reason large-scale modifications were made in 2000 that returned the centre to the forefront of digital developments. Since then, the centre has consisted of various media rooms that focus on new ways of presenting and of exchanging data. Based on this theme, the design encompasses a variety of different rooms, the most unusual of which is the Round Control Room in which the presentation takes place entirely around the audience.
