The monumental building designed in the ‘Amsterdam school’ style by Dirk Roosenburg was adapted for the society for children’s rights whereby it was connected to the adjacent headquarters and was transformed to a building with a warm contemporary look.
The original qualities of the building served as a basis to implement a new office environment where a modern, flexible way of working is introduced.
The offices are positioned along the the facade to optimise the amount of daylight that enters and by using mainly glass office walls it creates an open work environment.
The open central area is intensively used by the employees for formal and informal meetings.
